About PNWDRA

Our Mission

Formed in Fall of 2025, The PNWDRA is not for profit drag racing club. Spearheaded by Rob Gillett of A Street Automotive, Carl Thorsett of Bracketstars and Arlyn Staiger of VP Racing Fuels and Access Performance Parts.

Our mission is to protect and continue NHRA ET Bracket Racing at our home track: Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. To form a team to Win the 2026 Summit ET FInals. To recruit new racers and grow the sport of drag racing. To produce a full junior drag racing program for kids. To provide a recreational place for our surrounding communities to come to the races. To provide a racing program for our High School students. To prevent illegal street racing and bring those contests to a safe racing facility.

We are renting the drag racing facility of Pacific Raceways for the 2026 Season. We will be responsible for all staff, all products such as traction compound, equipment, tech cards, insurance, Race Rescue, awards and payouts. The result is a fantastic 10 race double header series! To make this possible we need every racers support.

We will be operating as a NHRA Division 6 sanctioned organization. We will have a Team for the 2026 Summit Racing Series ET Finals.

March 7th we will be rolling out the 2026 Membership structure and tech card pricing. Please join us at the Chalet Theatre for this meeting.

Our goal is to have a membership based organization where your voice is hear and communication is excellent. Please join us and go over the membership and tech card plans for 2026.

The 2026 BracketFest Kickoff will follow this town hall meeting. It is free to attend the Town Hall Meeting. If you would like to stay and attend BracketFest that is a separate $20 admission or $25 with food.

Show your support of drag racing in the PNW! Consider sponsoring our series! From radio ads to signs at the events. Social media and fliers. We will work with you directly to make the most of your advertising. The more advertising we get the less the tech cards will cost. Please help in any way possible!

After close consideration we have elected to continue with the Pirates as our mascot for the 2026 A Street Automotive / Summit ET Racing Series. Many of our racers have invested in flags, decals and decorations over the years. We feel that keeping that tradition is important to our roots.

We have had a booth space at the Pacific Raceways All Mostorsports Swap Meet and the Early Bird Swap meet in Puyallup. Next we will have BracketFest March 7th at the Chalet Theatre in Enumclaw. The next day we will have a booth at the 4X4 High Performance Swap Meet at the Western Washington Fairgrounds in Puyallup, WA. Please come see us at all of these great events!

PNWDRA Land Of Leaders Race Dates have been announced.

PNWDRA's next appearance will be March 7th at BracketFest.

The PNWDRA Land Of Leaders dates have been confirmed: June 13, June 14, July 11th and July 12th.

These dates will create an exciting 4 race back to back series within our series. Land Of Leaders Champions are the overall points leaders for the division as a whole. Your 4 race dates earn points as outlined on the link below. These points will be pitted against everyone else in the divisions designated Land Of Leaders points for an eventual overall Champion.
